Beginning as a small, natural resources focused enterprise in 1964, Monarch Gulf Exploration has evolved to capitalize on the extensive search and production of the world’s demand for hydrocarbons.  Through marketing of Monarch’s gold mining interest the Company was able to aggressively acquired direct ownership interest in 17 oil and gas properties effective January, 2005.  With these initial producing properties as income generators and private offerings, additional ownership interest was purchased in exploration and development wells to expand hydrocarbon reserves.  The renewed emphasis to add bottom line value to the Company’s asset base, lead to new joint ventures with major oil and gas exploration companies.  The Company’s oil and gas properties are spread over a diverse and active geographical area in the United States.  Currently producing properties are located in Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.  Newer exploration areas range from California’s rich San Joaquin Basin, for prolific BBL (Barrels of Oil) development, to the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast for BCFE (billions of cubic feet equivalents) potentials. Both proven existing producing leases and larger exploration areas are now under consideration for future asset growth.  Monarch is positioning to capitalize on the world demand for oil and gas and is retaining options to explore renewable energy sources as economical and profitable sources are developed.
